Financial planning session

Your forties and fifties call for a steadier kind of financial thinking.

Wangsa Suria offers small-group programmes and one-to-one mentorship for Malaysians who want to approach mid-life financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence — at their own pace.

Small groups · Max 10 per cohort

Three paths, considered carefully.

Each programme is shaped around the questions that arise in mid-life — not the textbook version, but the real ones that keep you up at night. We work in small groups and at a measured pace.

Family Legacy and Estate Workshop

  • Follow-up consultation at eight weeks
RM 2,780 Enquire

A different kind of financial learning.

Small, Considered Groups

No cohort exceeds ten participants. You have space to ask the questions that actually matter to your situation, not the ones a large audience would expect.

Malaysian Context Throughout

EPF, KWSP, SSPN, ASB — our content is built around the instruments and legal structures that actually govern your financial life in Malaysia.

Measured Pace, Real Reflection

Programmes include written reflections between sessions. Understanding that settles is more useful than information that passes through.

Experienced Facilitators

Each programme is led by practitioners with backgrounds in personal financial planning, estate law, and adult education — not salespeople with a product to place.

The Whole Picture

Money decisions at this stage of life carry emotional weight. We make space for that — the family dynamics, the deferred conversations, the things that go beyond spreadsheets.

No Sales, No Products

Wangsa Suria is an education provider. We do not sell financial products, take commissions, or refer participants to affiliated advisors. Our only interest is your understanding.

Is this the right time to examine your financial footing?

If that question has been sitting quietly in the background, we would welcome a conversation. Write to us, or simply call during office hours — there is no obligation, and no sales process attached to the first enquiry.

Questions we are often asked.

Do I need a financial background to join the programmes?
None at all. The Mid-Life Money Foundations programme is specifically designed for participants with no prior formal background. Retirement Pathway Mentorship is structured around wherever you currently stand — your mentor will gauge that in the first session. Estate Workshop participants benefit from having thought about their family situation, but no technical preparation is needed.
Where do the sessions take place?
Group sessions are held at our Bukit Bintang premises in Kuala Lumpur. The Retirement Pathway Mentorship sessions can be conducted in person or via a secure video call, depending on your preference. We find that at least two of the six sessions benefit from meeting in person if you are based in the Klang Valley.
How often do new cohorts begin?
The Foundations programme runs quarterly. The Estate Workshop runs twice a year, typically in March and September. Mentorship engagements can begin at any time subject to facilitator availability — contact us to discuss current openings. We keep intake small to maintain the quality of each cohort.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made fourteen or more days before the first session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within seven to thirteen days receive a 50% refund. Within seven days, fees are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future cohort within twelve months, at our discretion. Please review the full terms before registering.
Is participant information kept private?
All personal and financial information shared during sessions is treated as strictly private. Facilitators operate under a confidentiality agreement. Group sessions follow a shared confidentiality norm that participants agree to at enrolment — what is discussed in the room stays in the room. We do not share participant information with third parties, and we do not use your details for marketing without your explicit consent.
Are these programmes suitable for couples?
Yes — many participants attend as couples, particularly for the Estate Workshop and Retirement Pathway Mentorship. For the Foundations programme, each participant registers individually. For mentorship, couples who wish to engage together should note that this would be structured as a shared engagement with adjusted session content.
